Installation is a straightforward 7-step process:

1. Measure and Plan – Measure the length and height of the area, and note any cut-outs needed for sockets or switches.
2. Prepare the Surface – Clean the wall with a damp cloth and let it dry. The surface must be smooth, dust-free, and flat.
3. Cut the Panel (if needed) – Mark cutting lines with masking tape and a pencil, then cut from the back of the panel using a circular saw with an aluminium-cutting blade (leaving the protective film on). For sockets and switches, drill a pilot hole with an HSS bit and cut out the area from the back with a jigsaw. File any sharp edges and check the fit.
4. Apply Adhesive – Apply adhesive in vertical 6mm beads (not dots) across the back of the panel.
5. Install the Panel – Place 1mm spacers along the worktop to allow for expansion, press the panel firmly to the wall, and use spacers or masking tape to hold it level. Allow the adhesive to cure (typically 12–24 hours).
6. Seal the Edges – Apply a neat bead of clear or colour-matched silicone along the edges and corners.
7. Clean Up – Wipe down with a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner.

Yes. These panels are fully waterproof, making them ideal for kitchen splashbacks and other areas exposed to moisture. To maintain a watertight finish, seal all edges and corners with clear or colour-matched silicone once the panel adhesive has set.
