Overview:

Our PVC Wall Panel store is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a capability of being able to gain a strong knowledge of our products, specifically PVC wall panels. The Salesperson will be responsible for greeting customers, assessing their needs, and providing them with product recommendations and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, and determine their needs by asking appropriate questions
• Present and demonstrate the benefits of our products, with a specific focus on wall panels and bathroom design
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
• Keep the store clean and organised, including the maintenance of product displays and shelves
• Process transactions and handle cash, credit and other forms of payment accurately
• Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their purchases and to encourage repeat business
• Duties in the warehouse will be required as and when the business requires

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a salesperson, preferably in a retail setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of PVC wall panels or other related products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic math and computer skills
