Cobalt is a deep, rich navy blue that creates a cool, harmonious feel in a bathroom. An increasingly popular choice, it’s a vivid and intense colour that brings elegance and character to a room.
YOUR ROOM, YOUR WAY.
Perform panels can be easily cut to size, meaning they will suit any size or shape of room. Achieving a stylish finish in a wet space has never been simpler.
Perform Panel products are manufactured using a 5-layer plywood core. The boards are bonded to HPL (high pressure laminate) to the front face and a backing HPL to reverse. Suitable for wet rooms, showers and areas with extremely high humidity.
Where the long edges of the panels are supplied with the Nu-lock tongue and groove click system, certified birch plywood is used as the core substrate.
Perform Panel Trims
When installing Perform Panel Shower Panels, it is essential to use Perform Panel trims to ensure a professional and watertight finish. These trims are specifically designed to complement the panels and provide a seamless look.

Perform Panel typically deliver within 3 - 7 working days.
We recommend that all panels are stored horizontally for a minimum of 48 hours in the room they are being installed in. this allows them to acclimatise to the conditions. Please dry fit the panels together to ensure they lock together without issue.
Nu-Lock panels can be face fixed to a wall or bonded to the wall. If bonding, a high-quality adhesive must be used, we recommend using our Perform Panel adhesive.
Whether face fixed or glued, the grooved edge of the panel must be screwed to the wall to keep this flush and rigid, to allow the next panel to interlock. If face fixing and not using adhesive, then these should be placed at 400mm centres.
Nu-lock panels are supplied with one tongued edge and one grooved edge as standard.
When fitting extrusions, the tongue or grooved edge must be removed to allow the extrusion to fit correctly onto the panel. The first panel is bonded to the wall or frame using the Perform Panel adhesive, with the grooved edge visible. Non-corrosive No 6 screws are used to fix through the bottom flat part of the groove at 600mm centres, ensuring care is taken when drilling to avoid splitting the panel.
Care must be taken not to bend the panel by overtightening the screw in any void on the framing. Screws are fitted flush to avoid any obstruction to the next panel to be located.
A fine bead of silicone sealant should be applied along the top (front edge) of the tongue of the next panel being fitted which is then fitted into the groove at 45 degrees, and once inserted fully it should “pop” into place when pushed back against the wall.
Our recommended sealant is our Perform Panel silicone which is available in white, clear or colour matched.
Continue with the same process as above, until the fitting of the last panel, finishing off with an end cap (removing the groove first to ensure extrusion is fitted neatly).
For a shower or “over a bath” application the panel should sit some approx. 4mm above the tray with the gap filled with silicone ensuring there is no risk of movement. Alternatively, a panseal bottom trim may also be used. A separate installation guide is available for the Panseal bottom trim.
In a wetroom situation we recommend the use of an end cap to seal the base of the board ensuring that a silicone bead is applied before the extrusion is fitted and, in all situations, any exposed timber must be sealed.
Perform Panel has a warranty of 35 years provided the installer follows recommended guidelines.
